Eight by Five is made up
of two sets of sisters – Kelley/Lesley and Heidi/ Kari/Jessica – who are also
cousins. We live in the greater Sacramento area, and between the five of
us we have eight kids (and counting!), hence the name. We are a bunch of real
moms, trying to live life to the fullest, follow our passions, enjoy every
single day and not go completely insane! We're a mix of working moms and
stay-at-home moms (and work-at-home moms too!) who love DIY projects, style,
food and entertaining. We also love sharing all of those funny and poignant
real-life stories that we always have an abundance of - we’re hoping you'll
join us as we share some of our inspiration and our daily lives with you!

Hi, I'm Kelley, 34, and a Mom of one adorable baby girl, Zoey
Rose, who just turned 1-year-old (stayed tuned for her party blog post!). I'm a
working Mom "trying" to have it all -sometimes succeeding and
sometimes not, but loving every minute of the journey.
I'm Lesley, a 30 year old mother of two handsome boys, Valen 2 1/2 and River 2 months old. I married my high school sweetheart in Kauai 7 years ago. After my last son was born I decided to stay home and raise my boys. I have a feeling this will be the hardest job I have ever had.

Hi there! I'm Heidi, and I'm a work-at-home mom to three rambunctious boys, Sawyer, Sutton & Simon (ages 6, 5 & nearly-2). I'm a crafter and a writer, and you can often find me hanging out over at my other blog, Mom's Crafty Space. I love DIY projects, baking, party planning and arts and crafts projects that the entire family can enjoy together.
Hi, I'm Kari, 29, and a mommy to one bright-eyed little boy, Zane,
who is 17 months old. I never imagined myself as a mother yet it is the best
thing that has happened in my life. Between my job as a graphic designer/event
planner, my son, and my husband, I'm always on the go and am constantly looking
for any moment of "me time" that I can possibly fit into my busy
schedule.
I'm Jessica, 26, and a self-employed mommy and wife. My daughter,
Stella Jade, is 4 and full of life. I enjoy every moment that I can spend with
her. Time really does fly, but you don’t realize it until you watch your kids
transform right before your eyes. I'm an adventurous soul who learns, lives,
and loves everyday.
