Money Talks Part II - Best 4 Credit Cards to Use

Part I was about savings, Part II is about getting something back!  We have standard credit cards from our bank but it's time to start using one of these cards that you actually get something out of.  My big issue was NOT paying an annual fee either.  These were the best 4 that I found and now I just have to decide if I want rewards for shopping, travel or cash back.  Tis the season for shopping - I'm going to get rewarded for what I spend!  

If Target is right down the street from your house (we spend a ridiculous amount there):

Target "Red Card" Credit Card (or new Target Debit Card)

• No Annual Fee
• 5% back on all purchases
• free shipping on .com
• extra 30 days on returns
• 22.9% Interest

If you are looking for straight up cash back:

Chase Freedom Cash Back Credit Card

• No Annual Fee
• Unlimited 1% cash back on all purchases (no limit)
• 5% cash back on select purchases (these change on a quarterly basis)
• 22.9% Interest

If you are an avid traveler (my Mom uses this one and loves it): 

Capital One VentureOne Credit Card

• No Annual Fee
• 1.25 Miles per every dollar you spend (no limit and no expiration) 
• Redeem for Airline tickets, hotels, rental cars
• Fly any airline with no blackout dates
• 19.9% Interest

If you are a shopper:

Citi Thank You Credit Card

• No Annual Fee
• 1 Thank You point for every $1 you spend on purchases (no limit)
• Redeem for merchandise, travel rewards, gift cards, cash and more
• 22.9% Interest
